Modern Alice Outfits

Alice
Alice Kingsley in not necessarily a Disney Princess, but she is definitely a prominent Disney character and that's why I included her. I've also included some other characters who aren't necessarily princesses, but I couldn't leave them out!

Alice Casual
Alice is technically a very young girl, but when I designed her set, I pictured her much older. I did that with most of the characters, almost all of the Disney women are underage. So I pictured most of them 18 and up. So keep that in mind as you view all of the outfits. But I had fun designing this set and am very pleased with how it came out!

  • Outfit-
    • I chose this dress because it was very similar to the original. I loved the modern look of this dress. I love how the sleeve length looks with the dress. It is very different. The original dress flares out from the waist, but I really love where it flares out in this dress. I think it is something that you don’t see very much and I thought it would fit her style. Instead of Mary Janes, I chose a strappy black heel. Do I think these are very sensible to wear in Wonderland, probably not, but hey you’re in Wonderland shoes might be extra comfy there (or at least a girl could dream they are)! But these shoes are seriously flipping cute! I think they are a fantastic modern and older (age wise) version of her original shoes!
  • Accessories-
    • Purse- Alice Kingsley was born into a wealthy family, so I’m sure she would have expensive accessories including this Chanel purse. I really liked the purse because the strap is adjustable so she could wear it as a sling or a shorter strap. That way if she is wondering through Wonderland (hehe wondering through Wonderland) she wouldn’t have to worry about carrying a purse. Since I didn’t have her wearing an apron I made up with white accessories, another reason I really liked this purse.
    • Jewelry- Since she would be wealthy I decided to give her pearls for the necklace and bracelet. They are very simple, but very classic and elegant. I just love them and think they look perfect for this outfit and her. Now the earrings, how perfect are these earrings? I had to throw the white rabbit in here somehow! These are seriously perfect and I couldn’t be more happy with them!
  • Beauty-
    • Hair- I didn’t want to give her a hair bow, so instead I pulled back her hair that way she still had some style going on. I really loved this hairstyle. I think it is very simple and extremely beautiful and fits Alice quite well.
    • Eyes- I really liked the nude eye shadow in this look. Very elegant and not over the top. And I especially love how the mascara looks in this! It is so pretty and would bring out her eyes so well! I think it is absolutely perfect! I like whisper of the grayish blue eyeliner, very pretty. This makeup works perfect for this look!
    • Lips- I love this lip color! It is just a couple shades darker than a natural looking color. I think it is just a perfect color for this entire set! The light gloss on the lips is just perfect!
    • Nails- I love the plain white nails. I think it looks classy and elegant, kind of like the pearls. It is also a very modern thing to do with your nails. I think it fits the entire set so well, and I could really picture Alice with these nails.

I started to do these outfits because I love the Disney Princesses! I was just inspired one day about what their outfits would look like now days... Plus you can't always throw on a ballgown to dress in the Disney fashion, but I think these outfits give you the option to be in the style of Disney without looking like you are wearing a costume! I love these outfits, but they can be interpreted in anyway, and that's how I wanted it to be. So if anyone liked them, they could find stuff in their own closets that matched in a similar way! I did every Disney Princess I could think of, and ALL of their outfits (from the original movies, no sequels...yet...)!

P.S. The links under the outfits are direct links to my Polyvore where I made the outfits! <3
