Introduction

So all of my life I have loved movies, Disney especially (as you can see from my background). I love universal movies as well, and obviously Harry Potter! When I went to Universal and Disney World when I was little I barely remembered it... I remembered specific parts though! Like meeting the Grinch in Whoville around Christmas time, or meeting Pooh Bear and Eeyore. Last year I went to Disney World and Universal for the first time in over 10 years and I had the time of my life!

I felt like I was six again! Epcot was the first park we went to (my parents and I). I was in awe with all the different countries! It was so fun seeing all the different cultures in little areas! Aurora was the first princess I met that week and I felt like a little kid! She was so pretty! Standing in front of me in the pink dress I had seen her wear a million times in Sleeping Beauty. She seemed like she just stepped out of Sleeping Beauty! I felt giddy! Like I was about to meet a celebrity! She was so nice! The fact that I was a 19 year old college student didn't cause her to treat me like I was any less special than all those little girls just as excited as me! I found this happened with all the cast at all the parks I went to (Epcot, Magic Kingdom, and Hollywood Studios)! I can't decide which park was my favorite!

One of the most memorable moments for me came from Magic Kingdom! As a kid and to this day, my favorite Disney Princess has always been Ariel. So when I saw Prince Eric's Castle I felt like I was in another world! We went into Ariel's Grotto to wait in line to see her! I was a little nervous not going to lie... But once it was my turn and I saw her, I was filled with pure excitement! She was amazing! It was as if she just swam out of the movie and landed in Disney World! It was a dream come true! But what else can you expect from Disney? :)

The last place we went to that week was Universal Studios! Obviously the first place we went was The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, and I'm a huge Harry Potter fan! I went to every movie premiere with my mom after seeing the Sorcerer's Stone at a friend's house! I've read the last two books and am currently starting the series over from book one! So when I saw Hogsmeade coming up in front of me excitement filled my body! But when I heard the music... I couldn't help it, tears filled my eyes. This magical world that I had only seen in movies was right in front of me! I couldn't believe I was there, in one of my favorite worlds! It was such an amazing day! I went to Ollivader's and I got chosen! I got to have my wand choose me! That day couldn't have gotten any better! But it did! We rode the Hogwarts Express! Drank Butterbeer! I got a Hogwarts House Cloak (Hufflepuff as told by Pottermore)! And went through Platform 9 3/4 at Kings Cross Station! And went through the rest of Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure! I love movies and seeing all the memorabilia and the themed movie rides was so cool! So was watching a horror makeup show! I had so much fun!

What's the point of all this? I love everything Disney, Universal, and Harry Potter. This is why I made a blog about all of these! Because they are amazing and I'm slightly obsessed! My first few things are going to be some outfits that were inspired by Disney Princesses with a modern take, but that's all I have planned for now! So I hope y'all enjoy My Universal Disney Obsession!
