Ariel is honestly my favorite Disney princess! I have loved her since I was a little girl! I think The Little Mermaid is amazing and is one of my favorite movies to this day! But she is an amazing princess! She has such a fun and adventurous personality! Oh and she's a mermaid!

I know this isn't necessarily an outfit considering most of her outfit would be tail that is connected to her body... Really the only clothes she has is her seashells, but her look is very iconic! So I did have more room to improvise and I really loved that! I'm very happy with this outcome!

- Outfit-
- I really like this dress! I think it is a very beachy dress! I chose to do a green dress because her tail is green and that is most of her outfit. The pattern on the dress is very different. I wouldn’t say it resembled scales exactly, but I do think they represent her scales. I think this is such a cute and light dress and would fit her fun personality! I like how it is pretty form fitting at the top and only flares out a little from the waist! Other than flip flops I think every girl can agree the cutest summer shoes are wedges! I chose these wedges because I love the sand color! I think they would look great with this outfit and look like Ariel was always walking on sand! They are such a cute style too!
- Accessories-
- Purse- I had to involve her sea shells some how! I decided to represent them in this purse. I know it is such a small factor, but her tail was the main part of her original “outfit”. But I love this clutch. It is wider than most clutches. I like that, it is different. I really like how pure the purple color in it is as well!
- Jewelry- I liked the light gold jewelry, I think it accompanies the outfit very well. The bangles are very pretty and I love the different designs and colors in each one! Adds something so simple but extravagant to the outfit. I like this sand dollar necklace. I know I know, it isn’t exactly a sand dollar, but I think it looks like a fancy version of one :). I like how it would look above the neckline of the dress! Ok, if you’ve seen Aquamarine you will understand why I gave her star fish earrings! They give you compliments! Ok same with the sand dollar necklace, these are probably just regular gold star earrings, but I like to think of them as starfish that would whisper compliments into her ears! :)
- Beauty-
- Hair- Ok I love this hairstyle! I think it is perfect! Perfect for her, perfect for the outfit! I love it so much (that’s why I had to use it in two of her sets)! The only thing, I wish the bow was a different color… I would really love if it was pink, like the flower she has in her hair! I think that would be so cute!
- Eyes- I love this makeup! Those eyelashes are amazing! Every girls dream! I like the subtle hits of eye shadow in the corner of her eye, and on the lid. This outfit has some bold colors, and I like the simple natural ones in her eyes.
- Lips- I love her original bright red lips, I think it looks great with her hair! So I decided to keep that original color with this lipstick! It is perfect for her bright personality! And very good for the outfit!
- Nails- I loved these nails! I love the combination of the teal and purple! I like the teal because it looks like the fin of her tail! And the purple of course representing her shells some more! Super cute! They would look amazing with the rest of her outfit as well!
Ariel Beach
I love this outfit! I think it is cute! I think her trying to be all fashionable in the human style is super funny and cute! I tried to keep this outfit pretty similar to the original, and I am extremely happy with the end result here!

- I love this original outfit! It is so cute! Scuttle telling Ariel how to dress like a human and this is what he comes up with! Yes the dress looks kind of funny but when it straightens up as she runs from Max it is actually very cute! I tried to pick a dress that was very close to the original, and I am very happy with what I’ve found! Such a cute short dress! Very flowy and airy! Extremely cute! And I love the length! A length very modern! Plus it would show off her brand new legs! I love these shoes! They are so different! I don’t even know how to describe them! But I love how they would look with the entire outfit! I love the chunky heel as well!
- Accessories-
- Purse- I love this purse with this outfit! She could carry any human things she finds that she likes! A fairly large bag, she could have multiple thingamabobs or dinglehoppers all in one place! It also matches her shoes! I love the texture of the material as well! Looks a little run down!
- Jewelry- I didn’t want to give her to much jewelry because I like the simplicity of this outfit. So I gave her this long necklace! It is pretty simple except for the small accents. I love it! So simple and so perfect for the outfit!
- Belt- I couldn’t use rope for the belt so I found something that looked just as well! I love this belt! It matches the shoes and the bag and would look amazing on the dress! The braids in the belt look like braids in rope as well!
- Beauty-
- Hair- I loved this hair style! The curls are so pretty and I love how they would be so full and thick if she pulled her hair in front of her! They are so messy as well! I think it fits this outfit very well! Her hair would be so striking compared to the outfit as well!
- Eyes- I love this frosty eye shadow! It is so sparkly and so pretty! I think the makeup looks amazing with the entire outfit! I love the eyelashes as well! They are so long! I think this is perfect for the outfit! The colors aren’t to vibrant and I love that!
- Lips- I also chose to not use a vibrant color for her lips as well! I think this nude/pink lipstick is perfect for the outfit! I love that her hair will be the most striking thing you will see! That’s what I was really wanting to capture in this outfit!
- Nails- I did choose a dark blue for the nails though. I wanted her to carry a part of the ocean with her in this outfit. I wanted her nails to look like the deep blue ocean from which she came! This color is so very pretty as well!
Ariel Elegant
I think Ariel looks beautiful in her elegant dress! I think it fits her personality! I really enjoyed making this look modern! I think Ariel would look amazing in the set and I am very happy with the result! I hope y'all like it too!

- Taking these elegant dresses and modernizing them is a little hard sometimes. Because their ball gowns are so full, and we don’t tend to wear big ball gowns like that these days unless we are getting married. Ariel is not getting married in this outfit, so I gave her this dress. I really love it. It is very pretty and extremely elegant. The color is very vibrant and pretty! Ariel has two tones of pink in her dress, so I’ve used two tones in this entire outfit. They aren’t the exact colors of her original outfit. I chose these shoes because I like the color and I think they would look very pretty as they would peek out from underneath her dress!
- Accessories-
- Purse- I chose to use the light tone of pink for this clutch. I like the size of it! It is very cute! I love the material! It looks so different because of the color! I think it looks so perfect for the outfit!
- Jewelry- I really like these earrings! The teardrop shape is so pretty and the color is super pretty and matches the dress! I think they would look very pretty next to her face! This necklace is so pretty! The color is so pretty and I like that it looks like a big jewel! It would be so shiny if the light hit it right! So pretty!
- Beauty-
- Hair- I decided to do a simple updo for her hair. I really like this hairstyle, I think it does look a tad messy, but also very put together! I think it would look great on Ariel and fantastic with this outfit!
- Eyes- I chose this basic eye shadow because of the color. It is the same tone as the dress. I think just covering the lid with this color and some mascara would look really good with this outfit!
- Lips- I love this lip color! It looks great with the outfit! Plus it matches the same tone as the lighter pinks. I think it is such a modern color and it looks great with the set! The gloss is a good amount as well! Nothing to crazy!
- Nails- I liked this color pink, and it matched the darker tone. If you look closely in the movie when she goes to pick up the fork (thinking she was supposed to comb her hair with it) her nails are painted the same color as the darker color of her dress. So I just decided to just continue that pattern onto this outfit!
Ariel Pajamas
I think these pajama outfits are so fun to do! All I can imagine is all these Disney princesses acting their age and actually having a sleepover! How amazing would that be? I think that would be awesome! So I really enjoy these outfits! I think they are so fun and cute!

- I think Ariel looks super cute in her nightgown, so I decided to try and find her something similar and modern. I love what I found! This is super cute and looks super comfy! Also it looks extremely similar to her original one, so it doesn’t look like I’ve went to far away from the original. These slippers look so flipping comfy and soft! I think they look fantastic with the night gown and they look so cute too!
- Accessories-
- Pillow- I tried to keep the slumber party theme in this one as well. So I chose this cute chevron pillow that was just pink and white. The color matches her night gown and looks super cute! It is such a plain looking pillow but the pattern and colors make it look so fun!
- Blanket- This blanket looks so seriously soft! I like the baby pink color and I like how it just looks soft! The fringe edges give it a homey look as well! That was something I really liked about it!
- Brush- Every pajama look has to have a brush so I decided to give Ariel a brush that fits her personality. That is why she has a dinglehopper! I thought this was such a cute addition and added a ton of her personality into the set!
- Beauty-
- Hair- I really loved this hair style! I don’t know who has hair this fabulous during bedtime, but it seems like something Ariel would have! I’m assuming Ariel has curly hair, but I’m not sure, her hair is straight and curly throughout the movie at different parts. But the curls in this style seem natural looking, and something easy for Ariel to do!
- Lips- Same with Cinderella I decided the only lip makeup she needed was lip balm. I liked this eos balm because the minty scent smells amazing and I think Ariel would like it! Plus the teal color adds a needed splash of color to this very pink set!
- Nails- Ok seriously these nails don’t need an explanation! They match the nightgown so perfectly it’s ridiculous! How cute is that? Having your nails match your pajamas!
- Soap- I also wanted to use the philosophy brand of soaps for this look as well. I think this set goes with the rest of set very well! And smells amazing! Same thing that I said with Cinderella, even if she wasn’t going to a sleepover, I think Ariel would use all of this stuff for a spa night for herself! Plus in the movie she seemed to really enjoy bubble baths!
Ariel On The Town
I think this is a very cute outfit originally! I stuck to the original as close as I could! I really enjoyed finding the modern items that closest resembled the original! I think the end result is amazing and I am very happy with it! Such a cute outfit! Perfect for exploring the town!

- I really loved the original outfit, man Ariel had some style! So I tried to keep this version very similar! I switched the corset and her under shirt. I gave her a crop top that was black instead of dark blue. Because it was really hard to find a shirt that was that specific color and still fit the outfit. Black isn’t to far off so I’m happy with it! I chose a blazer instead of an under shirt. I really love the color of this blazer and think it looks amazing with the outfit! I tried to find a similar skirt to the original and love what I found! I reminds me so much of the original, just shorter! It is such a modern version of the original, which is the whole point of this! Her shoes matched the corset in the original so I matched them to the crop top in this one! I love the shoes! So basic but they fit the outfit so well!
- Accessories-
- Purse- I loved the color of the blazer so I decided to use the same color for the purse! I love this little sling purse! It is small enough not to get in the way of her activities. But it can carry anything essential she would need!
- Jewelry- I didn’t think she needed a lot of jewelry for this outfit! I thought these earrings were perfect and just added the perfect amount of “bling” to the outfit! The shape is so different! I loved them!
- Beauty-
- Hair- This is the set I used this hairstyle for a second time for. Purely because it was absolutely perfect! The bow is black and matches the shirt and shoes! It looks like her original hairstyle too! Gosh it is just so perfect for this set!
- Eyes- I’ve used this makeup before too, but it looks so good with the set! I love the simple makeup here! Those lashes are still amazing! I really love this makeup and the simplicity is perfect for this set!
- Lips- I really liked this light peachy color for the lips! I think it looks very natural which is perfect for this outfit! I think it is a very fun color and not to crazy! I think it would look great on her and fantastic with the eye makeup!
- Nails- I chose to choose a color that was similar to the skirt! Just so I had all those beautiful blues used more than once! I really think that color is gorgeous as well! Super amazing for the outfit!
Ariel Coming Out Of Water
This outfit is so beautiful! I think she looks amazing walking out of that water! Such an iconic part of the movie! The shimmering dress is so beautiful and I tried to do my best to recreate that in a modern way! It was a little difficult to make a modern outfit that was completely shimmery, but I am very happy with the end result!

- Hair- I loved this hairstyle! I loved the loose curls at the bottom of her hair! I like how it hangs and how vibrant the color is! Obviously her hair is much redder, but hers is also very vibrant and would stand out in this outfit! This style is so beautiful!
- Eyes- I love this makeup! It is so pretty! It is so sultry too! But I love the eye shadow! I love just the slight hint of a shine! The eye liner is amazing as well!
- Lips- I really wanted her lip color to stand out and I think this bright red does the trick! It is such a vibrant color and think it is perfect for her and the outfit! Ariel rocks the bright red lip color through most of her movie and I think she owns that color!
- Nails- I am seriously in love with this nail polish! It is amazing! I love all the different colors of silver in it! It is so shiny as well! This polish is perfect for the outfit as well!
Ariel Wedding
I love doing these wedding outfits! They are so fun to pick out the dress and the shoes and the hair! I had a blast doing this one! I am extremely happy with the outcome! I think this is something Ariel would love to wear on her wedding day these days! I tried to use some of the original outfit's aspects! I hope y'all love it as much as me!

- I’ve chosen to use another Alfred Angelo Disney inspired dress for Ariel’s dress! I’ve used one that was inspired by her! I chose this one specifically because it was an A-line. Most of the dresses inspired by her are mermaid dresses, which is great, but I wanted to use one that closest resembled her original. Yes it is not an exact copy, but the closest one! This dress is absolutely beautiful! The skirt looks like waves! I love the sweetheart neckline! The dress is amazing and I think perfect for Ariel! I really loved these shoes as well! I think they look very good with the dress! The jewels at the toe of the shoes give it just a little something extra that is perfect!
- Accessories-
- Purse- No one has a purse at their wedding! That’s why I didn’t use one here :)
- Jewelry- I decided to use pearls for the jewelry! Pearls come from the ocean (respectively), that’s why I am using them! I love this bracelet! I love how it is a lot of strands! I think it would look fantastic with the entire outfit and amazing on her! The necklace is so classic and elegant and perfect for her and this outfit! I really love these earrings (even though they aren’t necessarily pearls, they remind me of them)! I love the color and the shape!
- Beauty-
- Hair- This hairstyle is amazing! I love the waves and curls! I think it looks beautiful and the right amount of messy and styled! It would look beautiful with the entire set and with her dress! It almost matches the waves in her dress! I really think this is seriously perfect for her!
- Eyes- This simple eye makeup is perfect for this set! It is nothing extravagant, it is the right amount of eye shadow! Light natural colors! I like the mascara too! It isn’t to crazy! This is a very classy look!
- Lips- I like this light pink lipstick! I think it is subtle and not to crazy! Perfect for her wedding! It is a very flattering color as well!
- Nails- I love these light blue nails! I think they are perfect for this outfit and for her wedding! The color is beautiful and adds a pop of color to her outfit!
